What was once 96 shades is now 224 silk shades
After two whole years of planning, sampling, refining and listening to your requests, it is finally here, our brand new 2026 Pure silk shade card.
We haven't expanded our silk shade card in over 30 years until now.
So this feels very special to share with you all.

Our shade card is sold as a set of four A4 sheets as the above picture shows (You receive all four cards cards).
When you order one of our Pure Silk Shade Cards, we also enclose an embroidery yarn quality card, this has hand tied tassel's of the six different silk thread thicknesses we make so you can see and feel them in person, completely free of charge.

For those of you wondering why our new shade card has 224 shades out of the range of 355.
The idea of the shade card is that every colour on that card is available in each of our 6 different thread thicknesses. So this is our stock range. We do have 355 shades in our range at present, within the remaining 131 shades there are of course still lots of colours that are available in all threads as well but we had to choose a colour spectrum that had some of everything in and not too many of one colour range, for example the blues which we have a lot of, so they couldn't all go in.
Along with the reason above, there are some colours that are low stock, some that are only available in certain thicknesses and some that are discontinued so once stock has gone they will be removed and a new colour come in, therefore these ones couldn't go on the shade card.
Our new shade card is a huge increase from the old and with such a small team (just 3 of us) keeping on top of 224 stock shades in 6 different thicknesses (1,344 products) is a challenge
Finally the making of one batch of these shade cards takes 6-8 weeks as every single one is hand made, increasing it further would mean potentially a 3+ month wait which we felt was just a little bit too long.
2026 just got a lot more colourful
