There is a choice of many luxurious and
repeatable shades of continuous filament silk, in six differing qualities,
available on spools.
All these threads can be used in creative
embroidery and other textile crafts. Some suggestions for their
usage and the approximate deniers are given below.

denier Floss approx 200 metre spool
A fine slightly twisted yarn with a wonderful lustre which lends itself
to surface embroidery and silk shading.
240
denier 3 fold High Twist approx 100 metre spool
A fine strong
thread which can be used for machine or hand stitch techniques, lacemaking,
etc. It is approximately equal to one strand of stranded cotton making it
a good choice for a cross stitch job.
360
denier 3 fold High Twist approx 100 metre spool
A middle thickness thread suitable for hand or machine stitch
techniques. It is particularly good for quilting and various types of
lace, etc.
720
denier 3 fold High Twist approx 50 metre spool
Our thickest high twist extremely strong yarn. Its many qualities make
it appropriate to use in numerous creative textile crafts.
1200 denier
2 ply Low Twist approx 50 metre spool
A thicker low twist lustrous yarn suitable for embroidery, canvas work,
tassels and many other textile techniques.
1440
denier 2 ply Low Twist approx 50 metre spool
This yarn has the same qualities as the 1200 denier but is slightly
heavier.
